Daniel Williams, CPIM
Founder and Principal

Daniel Williams has a unique background of Operations & Manufacturing executive level experience coupled with ERP systems and Supply Chain Management Business Consulting.

Williams, a native of Lexington Kentucky, began his career in manufacturing working on the shop floor while attending college in the evenings and weekends, He has served as Machine Shop Foreman, Production and Inventory Control Manager, Director of Materials and Operations.

Williams co founded a local APICS chapter in Lexington, Kentucky where he served as Treasurer and New Membership Chairman. He has spoken at local and national APICS conferences though out the United States and business conferences in London England for the British Production and Inventory Control Society

Williams's career in the Applications Software sector began as Senior Manufacturing Consultant responsible for both pre and post- sales activities; he also served as Director of Consulting services managing the implementation of ERP systems for both the mid tier and fortune 100 global companies. He has consulted with firms in Canada, Europe, the Far East and Mexico. His largest client is 10.5BB in annual sales and the smallest a start up firm with zero sales.

Williams is equipped with hands on expertise in several diverse manufacturing environments including Aerospace and Defense, Engineer To Order Projects, Medical devices, Life Sciences, Chemicals, Food, and other formula based manufacturing operations. He has assisted companies with Lean manufacturing initiatives, FDA certifications, and ISO compliances including ISO 9000-AS9100.

Public Accounting background having worked for KPMG on manufacturing audits of public companies that were both Fortune 100 and mid size manufacturers.

Hospital accounting reviewing and auditing Federal and State hospital cost systems. Sarbanes / Oxley experience.

CFO, Chemicals manufacturing with the responsibility for software and hardware selection in a multi site operation. Organization supplied chemicals to Pharmacy Laboratory Groups, Research Labs, Federal and State CSI Labs.

Developed process for silicon gel plates currently being used by Labs through out North America

Hands on Supply Chain and Accounting experience with many Tier I and II ERP systems.
