Williams co founded a local APICS chapter in Lexington, Kentucky where he served as Treasurer and New Membership Chairman. Williams's career in the Applications Software sector began as Senior Manufacturing Consultant responsible for both pre and post- sales activities; he also served as Director of Consulting services managing the implementation of ERP systems for both the mid tier and fortune 100 global companies. He has consulted with firms in Canada, Europe, the Far East and Mexico. His largest client is 10.5BB in annual sales and the smallest a start up firm with zero sales.
